Peace in the Kitchen<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Using a clever metaphor from Gordon Ramsay\u2019s restaurant rescue shows, Pastor Bevan highlights that a restaurant can\u2019t function well without peace in the kitchen. Likewise, a church cannot thrive without peace in its leadership. \u201cIf there\u2019s no peace in the heart of the leader, there\u2019ll be confusion in the church.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Enemy\u2019s Strategy<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bevan teaches that Satan often attacks pastors in three areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Their message<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Their heart<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    And that\u2019s why Proverbs says, \u201cAbove all else, guard your heart.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Jesus Brings Peace, Not Shame<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Reflecting on John 20, Pastor Ray reminds us how Jesus appeared to the disciples after His resurrection\u2014not with judgment or demands for repentance, but with the simple words: \u201cPeace be with you.\u201d These disciples had failed, fled, and doubted\u2014but Jesus came with grace<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cAlso Them\u201d Moments<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Bevan speaks candidly about the pain of betrayal: how even those we never expected to leave us\u2014sometimes do. Drawing from Paul’s words in 2 Timothy, he talks about the heartbreak of being abandoned by people close to you. But instead of holding onto hurt, Pastor Bevan challenges listeners: \u201cLet them go. Forgive them today.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Two Blue Checkmarks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    In a humorous but profound illustration, he compares unanswered prayers to WhatsApp messages that are read<\/em> but not replied to<\/em>. Just like Mary and Martha expected Jesus to heal Lazarus immediately, sometimes we wonder why He seems silent. But Bevan reminds us: \u201cJesus doesn\u2019t always show up when it\u2019s difficult\u2014sometimes He waits until it\u2019s impossible.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Receive the Peace That Makes No Sense<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The sermon ends with an invitation to surrender every question and receive the peace that surpasses all understanding. \u201cThis peace doesn\u2019t come from performance or perfection\u2014it comes from the finished work of Jesus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
